Crucifix Spooks Hong Kong Residents, Feng Shui Experts Called

Feng Shui News

In America it is not so uncommon to see a crucifix on a Catholic School or worn as a symbol of faith or fashion on a chain around the neck. Not so in Hong Kong.

Residents of one Hong Kong neighborhood were so distressed by the crucifix being erected on
Marymount Primary School that they called several government officials for help. Apparently government officials did nothing because no law was being broken, so residents turned to Feng Shui Experts.

Resident Vivien Shiu said: "We do not want to bear this cross every time we look out of the window." Another resident, Elsie Kerr said: "It looks like a sword pointing at us."

Sophie Lo added: "It is even worse at night. This cross makes the school look like a haunted house. It is so scary."

Most of the nearby residents have taken feng shui countermeasures such as placing plants, fish bowls or running water decor-ations on window sills. Owners of one building installed two stone lions at the entrance to the building to ward off negative spirits.

The Astrological Chart of A Supermodel

A few people in my circle voiced surprise when they heard that Christy Brinkley is once again having marriage difficulties. Is it so surprising? Take a look at Christy's astrological chart as interpreted by practicing astrologer, Lynn Hayes.

Christie's astrological chart shows that her Aquarius Sun is conjunct Venus, bestowing beauty and good fortune. However, both are squared by Saturn, the planet of insecurity and self-doubt. Beautiful women in general, and models in particular learn to see their value in terms of their beauty. Men may be attracted to them more out of fantasy then from a genuine attraction to the person, something that isn't always evident in the first six months of a relationship. A quick marriage can therefore lead to a quick divorceas the fantasy bumps up against the reality. Read more>>
